October Serve
For our October Serve project, we are partnering with Paragon Mills Elementary to help stock their new hygiene pantry for the school year. They are currently in need of cleaning supplies like laundry detergent, bleach, multipurpose and floor cleaners, and dish soap, along with kids-sized socks and diapers for younger siblings. Please bring your donations to the Community Engagement corner on Sunday, October 11th and October 25th. Thank you for your support!

Jesus and the Disinherited
Join us this fall for a four-week book study exploring Howard Thurman’s profound classic, Jesus and the Disinherited. This class offers a welcoming space to talk about faith, fear, and what it means to truly love our neighbors.
The class meets in the Chapel at 9:00 AM, kicking off on Sunday, September 27, and continuing on October 4, 11, and 25.

Spruce Street Sunday
On Sunday, October 18th, we are holding a special combined worship service with our sister church, Spruce Street Baptist. Please remember there is no service at our Forest Hills campus that morning. We will gather together at Spruce Street (504 Spruce Street) at 11:00 AM, and they will be providing lunch for us immediately following the service. We look forward to seeing you all there for a great time of worship and fellowship!
Trunk or Treat
Get ready for a fun-filled family evening at our Annual Trunk or Treat on Wednesday, October 28, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM! Load up the car and bring the whole crew for an exciting night of trick-or-treating, a delicious dinner, and fun activities. It is going to be a wonderful time of community and connection, and we cannot wait to see you there!
All Saints' Day | Nov 1
On Sunday, November 1, we will observe All Saints' Day, a sacred time to pause, remember, and give thanks for the lives of the family members and friends who have gone before us.
During our service, we will honor and remember anyone from our community who has passed away since last year's All Saints' Day (November 2025).
If you would like to have your loved one's name included in our remembrance, please let us know by submitting their name below.
