This year, Ash Wednesday is February 17th. We’ll kick off our Holy Vessels series that evening at 7pm with a special live streamed service that will be unlike any Ash Wednesday you’ve experienced before. Our invitation for the evening will be one of commiting to enter into Lent, but also entering into a season of healing and recovery that requires the naming of what has been broken, what has been shattered as a first step. We take “the yoke” of responsibility as disciples of Jesus to be the Body of Christ–a body of those who need healing and offer healing in the world, remembering the promise of Jesus that he is with us in our weariness and burdens.
