Tuesday, December 21st is the winter solstice, the one day out of the year with the least daylight and most hours of darkness. At 7pm Hillsboro is holding a Longest Night Service. It will be a time of prayer and naming the grief experienced this year, but also a time of comfort and hope; remembering that when things are darkest, we can still pause to remember together that God's light and love drives out the darkness.
