We think church should be one of the most engaging and exciting places on the planet even when that place is a virtual one. We always collect for for Spruce Street’s Tuesday Morning Feed Program, but this month we are making an extra push. They has extended their feeding program to include a clothes closet and a “grab and go” table that offers those coming in for lunch even more assistance. So in addition to our typical list of food items that are asking for individual snack items:
Small peanut butter, saltine crackers, cheese and peanut butter snacks, crackers, protein bars, canned meat with the pop or pull tab, individual dry cereal, bowls, individual snack cakes, anything that the hungry and homeless can ‘grab and go.’ A list of food items for the pantry and the ‘grab and go’ table will be available at the Welcome Table.
Jesus and the Disinherited
Join us this fall for a four-week book study exploring Howard Thurman’s profound classic, Jesus and the Disinherited. This class offers a welcoming space to talk about faith, fear, and what it means to truly love our neighbors.
The class meets in the Chapel at 9:00 AM, kicking off on Sunday, September 27, and continuing on October 4, 11, and 25.

Trunk or Treat
Get ready for a fun-filled family evening at our Annual Trunk or Treat on Wednesday, October 28, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM! Load up the car and bring the whole crew for an exciting night of trick-or-treating, a delicious dinner, and fun activities. It is going to be a wonderful time of community and connection, and we cannot wait to see you there!
